hat's the question you should be asking yourself.

Great question for any recruit. Which school will give me the best chance to win a NC. Not a really hard one to answer though since every class Saban has recruited at UA has won at least one NC.

Or, which program will give him a shot at winning a nc, while preparing him for the nfl while he's there? Not only preparing him to make it to the nfl, but to excel in the league and have a neck up on others from the get-go. LSUs track record of elite defensive backs is second to none. Surtain jr has major family ties to louisiana and has stated that he sees Louisiana as his home state, evendors though he was raised in florida. He has a lot of pride in Louisiana as his home and has had LSU on top for 2 years, and we still are his leader. It would be a complete shock for him to sign anywhere else and I'm just being honest. I'm sure our coaching staff feels the same way. LSU is known for preparing players for the nfl, and preparing them to step in from day 1 and be immediate players for their team...especially at the defensive back positions. He will have the opportunity to compete for national titles at LSU as well man, but this will be a business decision too. It's pretty damn tough for any program to match LSU in the regard of preparing you for the nfl as a db. Corey Raymond is already preparing defenses with the idea that surtain Jr will be a tiger. Nothing is 100% sure until he signs, but I have a tough time seeing him go anywhere else other than LSU.
