I will hold my nominee for now

Michael Bennett UGA

Alvin Kamara apparently

Nick Marshall. He got a lot of heat from fans for being a converted DB, but the guy was an elite runner and could throw a fine deep ball. Contrast him with an overrated QB like Jalen Hurts and you can see a huge difference. Marshall could keep you in a game whether it was a run based strategy or pass heavy (see 2014 Iron Bowl).

Strictly from a homer standpoint I'd say Connor Shaw or Hayden Hurst.

Nick Marshall and Tre Mason

CJ Mosley and/or Mark Barron...some recognition but not commensurate w/their contributions.

I always felt Conner Shaw was underrated.
He played QB at South Carolina and was 17-0 in his career at home, that blows my mind. 30 touchdowns and one turnover his senior year. And never made All-SEC team.

Both were 2x All-Americans and 1st round picks. Mosley was SEC DPOY and won the Butkus. Certainly not THE most underrated of the decade.
My pick would be Nick Marshall. He was the perfect player for Gus’s offense. Alvin Kamara was the most underused.

Gotta go with Nick.
In the two seasons he was at AU he was the second best qb in AU history IMO. Cam was obviously the best to play the position at AU.
Nick just flat out produced game in and game out. Obviously a great runner but threw a great deep ball. He was insane in the 2014 iron bowl. Sumbitch threw for 450+ yards against a saban defense. And dude was pretty clutch in big moments as well.
I'm not sure Nick would make a top 50 list of SEC qbs. Maybe not top 75 or even 100. But dude produced well enough to be top 20 over a two year period. That is the definition of underrated.

Connor Shaw. He did not look like a QB at all, but he found ways to make plays and get shite done.
