Yea - I'd prefer to sign a guard in FA. I read an interesting article somewhere that inside guard has become an increasingly important position over the last 4-5 years per most football people, but that the market has not caught up yet. Therefore, free agency is still a solid value for getting good inside maulers because of the cost.

My perfect scenario would be

- Draft possible starters at #1 DT, #2 CB/NB, #3 TE, #4 3rd WR, #5 backup OL (mauler type inside)
- Draft a QB to groom as the backup
- Sign a starting OG
- Sign another interior DL

Would like to find a guy in the 4th-6th round to replace some of the last roster guys that we signed a few years ago (Brooks Reed, Derrick Shelby).

Have to imagine there is a chance we lose Poe and Clayborn. Will be interested to see what we do with Upshaw and Ishmael. Also curious to see what happens with Matt Bryant. Obviously he's awesome, but he was already making $2.8M........on the flip side he is going to be 43.

I hope we can splurge on Norwell from the Panthers.

Especially in the NFC with so many premier DT's that can dominate the LOS.RG is almost as important as LT these days IMO
