The fact that the entire plot revolves around an ice maker in Thailand is ridiculous. Anyone who has been to Asia will tell you that only luxury resorts have ice makers, and they were staying in a hell hole.

Agree. They tried too hard to match the first one. It wasn't close. The magic wasn't the there.
The first one was great.
