I heard chavis turned us down. were in a bit of a pickle. hearing there is a backup plan in place but name didn't sound familiar to me so I'll have to Google them to know if we will be happy or want chavis with fervor

He's right though, if Chaff-arse is the guy why hasn't he been announced since AtM has their guy?
The only reason I can think of is they're still working out the contract details, but I can't imagine it would take this long.

Which jives with the aTm hire, meaning Chavis was probably officially let go soon after the bowl game. But it makes the fact that he hasn't been named here more inexplicable, if he is the guy. Why would the announcement be delayed?

They needed to announce it ASAP for recruiting purposes. If they're playing games here it doesn't make any sense at all.
