Worse than that is the drive in the first quarter where we march down the field to the red zone, and then call a slow developing run to the outside with Bo, that loses 5 yards. Got bailed out via penalty 2 plays later, and on the new set of downs we call a slow developing outside run with Bo....that loses 4-5 yards. I was hoping we were trying to set something up for later in the game...but nope.



Also, Saban was bitching at Daboll for calling another one of those roll outs where Hurts doesn't look upfield until he is 2 yards from the sideline, only to throw it away or take the loss of yardage. Why we would roll him out to the short side of the field where there are fewer receivers, less space, and tighter throwing windows?

I specifically saw Saban say the words "he won't throw the fricking ball", when yelling at Daboll about that play.

I am as pissed as Saban is about it. We run that same basic play roughly 4 or 5 times a game, and it destroys our drives.
