It’s obvious that Arkansas is a shitty State (simply stop in Russellville as a prime example), but many of the Southeastern states are shitty and none have near the track record of Arkansas being unable to retain or hire local coaches.

Championship coaches that Arky couldn’t hire or refused to stay.
- Bear Bryant
- Jimmy Johnson
- Barry Switzer
- Gus Malzahn
- Tommy Tuberville
- Lou Holtz
- Butch Davis
- Fred Akers

I get it. They suck (they haven’t won a divisional championship in over a decade. Coincidentally, it was won by another coach who left Arkansas....for Ole Miss). But you would think that Arky wouldn’t have been able to hire or keep at least one of the championship winning coaches listed above.

It was established long ago that Arkansas is the breeding ground for great coaches. You're welcome for improving football. Our next generation will get rid of punting completely.

I personally like Arkansas but the answer to your question is lack of instate talent and they have people with money making dumb decisions. Also, Coach Bryant was going to coach at Arkansas but instead joined the Navy.

I know you just wanted to troll but that’s the answer.

Nice response thread, loser.

As punishment you need to say 35 Hail Sabans and 30 minutes of self-flaggelation.

Seems to be a response thread. Good job to whoever caused this guy to melt.

Why does Bama claim the 1964 NC when it's widely credited to Arkansas? These questions will never be answered I suppose.

It's not even a good response thread. It's a compliment more than anything. "Why are so many good coaches from Arkansas?"

My condolences. Many nice places in Northwest Arkansas though. I’ll concede that.

Arkansas shouldn't be in the SEC.

If I was a Gump fan, I'd be more worried about going 0-2 against Clempson.

But, carry on with your Arkansas response thread.
