I was hoping for Harell but his offense today looked like he’s not ready. I’d say with Fisch attending our practice this morning and meeting with Lock, he’s the guy. Although he’ll only be here a couple years, i’d be thrilled.

I think your reading way too much into the bowl game.

North Texas had a RB Wilson that finished with over 1200 yards and 16 TD’s in 11 games. He was injured and didn’t play today, that made their offense 1 dimensional.

From Heup and El to Fisch and Davis.

Solid experience. Good hires if Fisch is indeed the man.

I may be reading into the North texas game too much, but if Fisch is available, he’s more experienced and it looks like he’s interested in coming here. We can talk about Harrell again in 2 years when Fisch is a head coach somewhere.

Harrell won’t be available in 2 years. He will either be the HC at UNT, or be the OC at whichever P5 job Littrell gets next offseason.

Love it. Fisch will do great work here and head off to a HC position soon.

I thought no one would want to work for Odom and even if they did he'd never hire an established OC because he's insecure???

So is Fisch a continuation of Heupel's approach or will it be an entirely new offense?

Fisch has some more pro style philosophies, but he’s still well versed in spread offenses.

I have NEVER heard anything about Coach Odom being insecure.
