We have beaten them 3 of last 4. We really don’t care about them unless it’s brought up to piss off Tech or USCe fans.

You probably shield your eyes after the butt whoopin' they gave you. I have no doubt they gave it right back to you after you ran your mouth prior to playing Clemson in 2015.

No I'm trying to understand why you're stuck on 2015 and what that has to do with the upcoming Rose Bowl with Georgia.

Can’t remember if it was you or someone else earlier in this thread, but it was said if Oklahoma is held to 28 points or less, it would be a loss, and I can see that, based on the last 3 NC games. But, for once there are no key injuries and there is no Bob Stoops, or a QB that folds under the pressure.

Two traditional programs with modern coaching styles. Great play from both sides. So much to look forward to in this.

Win or lose, I’ll be here to say good game and/or congrats. I don’t troll or throw insults out unless warranted. I appreciate good banter. Oklahoma and Georgia really can’t use stats from each others games because the Rose itself will be different teams we’ve not seen based on what is on the line.

This is OU’s biggest game since the 2015 Playoff, and biggest and best chance at victory on a championship stage since 2008.

Georgia fans I know are ecstatic. This is the Dawgs biggest game since their last championship opportunity in January 1982.

I’m ready! I know the trash talk will continue between my fellow Sooners and the SEC faithful. But I’m just sitting back mainly and waiting for potentially the best Rose Bowl Game since Texas/USC.

So? What does Clemson have to do with the upcoming game with OU?

I'm just surprised that Clemson was able to stop that powerful BIG 12 offense. How many points did you score? 17? Wow. how did that happen? I am amazed.

I don't know. What does Oklahoma beating Tennessee have to do with it?

That was Clemson. I haven't seen an SEC team stop us. Now you're taking credit for something Clemson did like they're an SEC team too?

No. I am saying your all powerful BIG 12 offense can be stopped.

Oh. Texas A&M. Pretty sure they did pretty good against you.

So tell us. What was your excuse in 2015? I mean, surely you remember. It wasn't that long ago. Did your coworkers rub your nose in it? Just curious.

In 2015? We lost that game in the trenches. Pretty easy to see on tape.

I don't know if anybody else said it, but I did. I don't think Mayfield will fold. I suspect he will come out throwing and at the end of the game he will be up and throwing.

Agreed. And, honestly? of all the teams in the playoff, I think Oklahoma is the worse match up for us.

I have no doubt that Oklahoma will be ready and motivated. The seniors on your team will still have a bad taste in their mouths from 2015.

I don't really, if by banter you mean trolls. I hate it, actually, but can do it. I would much rather have a reasonable conversation, and i know you can do that. Charlotte? no. he is incapable to see any weaknesses in his team whatsoever, and i simply have not time or patience for people that come to our board as a guest, and troll. I will do my best to shame them and run them off. I dn't go to other boards, but if I did, I would go respectfully, realizing that I am a guest.

Yes and no. I mean, yes, we are ecstatic. But we came close in 2012. Lost to Alabama in the SECCG by 5 points, I believe? We were on their 5 yard line when time ran out. That was the year they beat ND half to death for the championship.

Probably not me. I am pretty much done. I'm like you, though, waiting on what I hope is a great game. It's exciting to be there, and it makes it more exciting to be going against a school with Oklahoma's history.

I used to love to watch Oklahoma play in the days of the BIG 12 when it was Oklahoma, Texas and Nebraska as huge powers. Some really great teams came out of the BIG 12....and still do. I am biased a bit to the older teams because I am an older guy.

Fair enough. We got torn up by Auburn this year by losing badly in the trenches.

The 2012 SECCG was a huge game for us. Winner got to play for the BCS championship.

We shall see. This will be the easiest offense that OU has had to defend since Auburn.

Totally forgot about UGA in 2012 being that close to the NC game. For some reason I usually think of the 2003 and 2007 teams being his best. But good on correcting me there.

Auburn does not have an easy offense to defend against.....typically. They heavily depend on their QB and a RB, preferably two. When Oklahoma played Auburn, Auburn did not have a QB that fit their system, and the one they had was injured badly. He couldn't throw the ball against us at all. Their backup was worse.

Georgia. Easy offense? Be the judge of that after the game. It's hard to say actually. I mean, our offense might play to the strength of the Oklahoma defense and Oklahoma might shut us down. We might come out in a scheme that is very successful against Baker Mayfield. Who knows, really?
Georgia might run for 500 yards in the game or Mayfield might pass for 500.
