South Carolina has benefited from being the weaker east. The west is a grind every weekend the east has like 2 good teams. Vandy and south Caroline.

yeah I mean outside 3 of the top 4 in Omaha when USC won a title, the East sucked. Back then you played 10/11 teams in the conference so what division you were only mattered in the SECT. Divisions in baseball are pretty irrelevant
