Me either... I mean I love it. And the general surrounding area within 30 minutes most direction does offer some nice scenery (rivers, rocky outcroppings, etc...) but it's by no means elite in that arena. Have never been to Fayetteville, but per photos and discussion with friends who have, would have to be the leader in the clubhouse.

Yeah, and the other UGA guy is laughing but I don't know why.

I lived in Athens for a few years. Compared with flat/hot nature of Auburn or the just general boringness of College Station, it's probably better. But it's just not remarkable even by a "naturally beautiful GA towns" standard.
