I've been doing a lot of research on Morris the last 24 hours or so since I've heard he was the man and I DO feel quite a bit better about him than I did before. His overall record is my hangup on being 'all in' on the hire, but by all accounts everyone that knows far more about him than I do swears he's a damn good hire.
Count me as 'all in' if he can agree to slightly lesser pay and bring in Venables as his DC/co-HC for a couple million per year like rumored. I think he needs to knock it out of the park with some big time assistants to have a chance at succeeding with a turnaround of this magnitude.
I keep hearing this stuff about his practices and how they're so much different than the average coach, can anyone expand on that?

This is how it should go for most people. Once you read up on Morris beyond googling his name and looking at his SMU record, you'll see what everyone else appears to see from national media to coaching circles.

From what Clay Henry said, his practices are rigorous and very intense. Don’t have anything more than that.
