That's not what's weird. It's the fact that not two months ago they wanted this man fired.
We wanted him fired because he hadn't been able to prove he could win the big games.
Then he beat #1 Georgia and #1 Alabama in the span of three weeks. Then it was a 6 point ballgame in the 4th quarter against that very good Georgia team when they ran away with it.
He proved he's worth keeping.

Next year both of these games are on the road. There will be no Jordan Hare magic for Gus. The disgruntled fans will be back out in force.
