Was that the same year as the "Division II, Here We Come" banner?

As a long time ticket holder who goes to all the games, it was the most enjoyable year I've had since 2002. The anxiety that I felt Saturday night was only comparable to Auburn 2002 and the national championship game in 1980.
Enjoy the ride guys, it doesn't come around often. Go Dawgs

I graduated in ‘92 and this is by far the best team I can remember. They play with a different style. Go out and take care of business. Nick Chubb has been my favorite Dawg. The guy is such a class act on and off the field. Very humble and always giving his teammates all the credit. Swift looks to be following in Chubb’s footsteps with the way he approaches football and life. He couldn’t have studied under a more respected teammate. Just goes to show that you don’t have to be a asshat like the Mayfield kid when you are great.

I started attending games in the late sixties and have seen a lot of really good teams and some great teams including the Natl Champs of 1980 and the 81 and 82 teams. No team I have ever seen has dominated their opponents like this team. I really believe this TEAM may be the best of them all. Solid in all areas.

Beat all of our rivals. Beat ND. Didn't leave an inexplicable loss.. made the playoff. Got a good shot at winning a national title. If you ain't happy as a Dawg fan right now you can't be happy!
