Good online payment system

My GF is looking to do side work while in school to help with bills. She is looking to write term papers online and using craigslist, etc to get interest.
What is a good website to use for payment for something like this? I was thinking Ebay, link them to the item and then put the buy now at whatever she ask for the paper. Have them buy then mail it to them.
Can ya'll think of a better website or way to set this up? Appreciate it.

Ebay isn't a payment site itself, but owns Paypal. Paypal is easy to use, but it seems their fees are high.
