Yes, we expected to compete for the SEC and a NC. We brought back a solid team that was only missing a QB. Enter Jarrett Stidham. What's the excuse now? It was no defense for several years, we have a great D now. 7 fricking points in the SEC Championship is inexcusable for a gotdamn offensive guru like Gus!

we got beat today. We got outplayed today. They executed better today. You, and your ilk, are the ones trying to make excuses and placing blame. These games happen. Today was a bad day for it to happen for us.

I expect to compete for an SEC championship every year, but I also realize that our in-state rival is in the midst of one of the greatest runs in cfb. 10-2 is what I predicted at the start of the season. What Gus did over the last few games is awesome. If he chooses to go to Arky, then so be it. But I think melting otherwise is wasted energy.
