How on earth does THAT make sense to anyone?
You are leaving me.
I can just wait 2 days and you are gone.
Instead, I hold a fricking meeting and take an action that COULD put me at financial risk IF I get it wrong?
silliness.
who said it's only going to be 2 days? Jimbo has them by the balls and they are sick of it.
they'll look for "cause", "breech" and any tortuous interference and weigh things out.
Better than sitting around while being held hostage by a coach and slime ball agent.

His contract includes the agent also

Actually, meeting to see if he has breached his contract, thus not costing FSU 40 million!
Why would they want to fire right now? If anything, FSU wants A&M to pay the 7 Million buyout. If they fire him for cause, they don't get the 7 million.
Some of you need to think before you post .

You were going along pretty good until you got to this utter bullshite....Florida St is capable of paying a coach 10+ mil per if they want to....there is no question about it.

Oh, good lawd.
I’m glad you aren’t my fiduciary.
He will be at aTm on Sunday or never.
aTm isn’t gonna just sit around and wait. He will be introduced on Sunday or aTm will move on.
I’m betting he is there ( College Station)

I've been skeptical for a while, but I think Jimbo is gone to A&M. The board may be meeting to get their next contract prepared for the next coach.
But perhaps FSU already called Fisher's bluff, which is why Fisher is off to A&M. They may have pointed out his 2017 record and laughed him out of the room when he and Sexton came calling for their next November holdup attempt. It's what LSU should have done to Miles when he was offered the Arkansas job after the 2012 season.
I think A&M is getting a good coach, and this is just a bad season for Fisher. But I'm sure the FSU folks are tired of his annual dissatisfaction, and they probably said enough is enough.

You're fricking retarded. Why would FSU fire Jimbo and miss out on a 7 Million buyout from A&M?? Worst of all, firing for cause will likely result in a lawsuit since they would have to prove there was contact AND that the contact was in relation to the job.
Go back to the Big12 board before you make a bigger arse of yourself. This is SEC talk. You're Big12.

I think FSU would be willing to negotiate that 7 down to something lower in exchange for him not coaching Saturday. But Jimbo would still have to be willing to leave before Saturday. Maybe that’s what the meeting is about

Well I blame you, we wouldn’t be still waiting if you would’ve closed the deal with candy last night

If he ends up renegotiating with FSU, this board will get really fun, really quickly.

There you go, 1L. Good work on spelling "cause" right though.

I find it strange everyone, but LSU fans have accepted this as over. They are not doing this again for the 3rd year. Jimbo is gone. The last 2 years he wanted a raise.

Calling his bluff so to speak
So A&M gets out of having to pay the buyout? Great news, dumbass.

Coach Bryant had taken the A&M job and was already on the job when his wife Mary Harmon and the two children drove to Aggieville. When she pulled into town her words to the children...."what has Papa done".

I for one would be surprised at this point if Jimbo didn't go to A&M.

yes, because you minions have sat on boards, owned companies etc..
while what you are saying is true... but to the point, if you think the FSU brain trust isn't sitting down and going thru mitigation discovery and planning out actions on several situations you are high.
Don't let your Joe bag of donuts influenced projection allow any corn dog presumptions.
Back to my previous posts on various threads.. this coaches arms race has gotten way out of balance and to the side that has never carried the power.
It's going to end and what we are watching unfold may very well be the point of demarcation.

Yup, of the five parties that could frick this deal up, FSU is the least to worry about. I'll shocked if Jimbo isn't on a plane late Saturday PM headed to Texas.
