That is actually more an issue between KU and Mizzou.
Reason why Mizzou does not play in the Big XII/SEC basketball challenge.
Nebraska boosters are putting ideas in the heads of the people in Lawerence about getting them in the B1G so UT needs to show KU is an important member of the Big XII
This is not really a SEC matter is it...

Good to see you around buddy where’s the Avi?

If they have no other choice with the big 12 but being out in a bowl vs an sec team the sec should do everything in their power to force Aggie or Mizzou on them.
I hope it's Mizzou. With the momentum Mizzou has last half of the season they might prison rape Texas.

so the longhorn AD and head coach are afraid of Texas A&M and Missouri because of Kansas?

Is this a precursor to A&M winning the Big 12 in basketball 2 of the last 3 years? (4-0 in 2015-2016, 2-0 so far in 2017-2018 with a possibility of 3-0)

Mizzou has played in the Big12-SEC challenge.
We haven't in a long time due to being dead last in the SEC thanks to Kim Anderson.
Big 12 isn't strong enough to keep us out. However individual teams could refuse to play us

How dare you use cold hard facts that refute his Randolph Duke Mickey Mouse logic!?

They are not afraid of Missouri
UT is afraid of KU not investing money into their football program because Nebraksa is running around the Big XII putting ideas in the heads of former Big 8 schools.
If KU doesn't put the money into their football program for stadium renovations then the Big XII will have a bottom feeder who cannot hold their weight.
Afterall the last 6 years Texas has been trying to recreate the image of the Big XII.
Texas is telling Mizzou no because KU would tell them no as well

Texas has become a giant pussy. And they should quake with fear at the thought of playing Mizzou. Tigers would hang 60 on them in the first half and laugh as they did it

I would be shocked if TX kept Missouri under 50. We've played KSU, OU and WV in bowls, and MO has played Ok St in bowls so it shouldn't matter anymore

Texas afraid to play any team that can take advantage of their incredibly weak secondary. Mizzou would easily hang more than 50 on them

This is the first true thing you have ever posted.
They are recreating the image.
The Big 12 went from having national championship contenders in 2008 and 2009 to competing with the PAC 12 for the worst Power 5 conference.
Quick quiz: Name the one conference who has never had a school win a game in the College Football Playoff. Now name the one conference to only have one member school ever participate. (The SEC will have 2 after the Auburn/Georgia game). Here's a hint: It's the same conference.

You can believe what you want to believe but like I said KU has major issues.
All the other teams in the Big XII are commited to the conference while KU is half way in and half way believing Nebraska.
There is a difference when Michigan boosters are asking you to come to the B1G and Nebraska boosters.
This is all about Texas showing KU that they are loyal to the conference and they have the back of each and every member.
Unlike Nebraska...
