Herman inherited a crappy team. The jury is still out on Herman as a prospect in my opinion. But i’m not going to lie. I would rather have Herman than Coach O.

6-6 isn't their ceiling. Don't be retarded. A real RB and an Oline that can keep Ehlinger upright and open a running lane every once in a while and they're an 8 win team for sure.

IMO, the real coach down there is Todd Orlando. Not cheesedick, grill wearing, mensa-boy, used care salesman Herman.

ogre had alot more talent to work with though.

i still cantr believe that texas lets these services overrate their recruits every year

eh, yes and no. He was without major pieces on the DL and OL for the first half of the season. We had no depth on the DL and couldn't run a regular rotation. We had musical chairs on the OL with guys getting hurt and being replaced by freshman. He lost Tredavious White, Duke Riley, and Jamal Adams, who were our best players on defense last season. I don't dispute LSU has more talent than Texas, but I did not expect LSU to improve from last year like they did. Troy game aside, I saw LSU get better each week this season which is encouraging. They look like a solid football team right now, and I was worrying they wouldn't make a bowl game after the Troy loss.

Go on...do tell sir. You have my attention, I really wanted Herman last year. I am surprised by how poorly they have been on offense and in general.

Edit to add: I think he gets better next year for sure, but Tim Beck seems like a liability.

I guess I missed all of the pundits who have praised the strength of the SEC this year.

how could Herman be so bad in the locker room I thought Strong brought down the hammer? You would think a kiss on the forehead would be welcome after Strong beating you into shape for last 3-4 years

How? He loses almost every bit of talent he had this year, and 2 of his 6 wins this year were pure luck

I’d be shocked if he wasn’t doing more than kissing his favorite players

He is a horn coach after all

I predicted that they would be anywhere between 7-5 and 9-3 this year. I did not see them getting blown out by Maryland and losing to Texas Tech.
