It's really crazy that Saban only gets beat by teams with a dual threat quarterback. This year that QB happened to be on his own team but still that seems to be his kryptonite.

I am praying Mullen goes after Fields. He choose Georgia over Florida, but that was before we got one of the best spread QB developers in football. He would be insanely perfect for Mullen's offense. I love Corral, but for this offense..Fields makes me drool. Could def scare Saban with him at Florida for 3 years.

Saban has beat plenty of dual threat QB's. He's just also lost to them in a noticeable manner. For example, he went 1-1 vs. both Manziel and Watson. The victories came in shootouts though, they weren't won with defense.

A better way of putting it is that you need a dual threat QB to beat Saban.

But this isn't just Saban. A legitimate dual threat QB is a powerful weapon and difficult for any defense or coach.

Just wait until Hurts is named starter again next year.

He won't be fired, nor should he. He should retire but likely won't until dragging the program back to irrelevancy ala Bowden and Mack Brown.

He played a near perfect game that day. Most entertaining qb we will ever have. Kept five points in business all by himself.
