Think that's what everyone thought would happen wasn't it? Seemed like Norvell was the favorite till the Gus talk started.

I heard a radio interview with him today and where a coach would normally state "us" or "we" or "I" he used "Memphis." It was pretty telling.

I care about who the Hogs hire. If the man is following that means he is at least talking with and thinking about/hoping for the job. The conference is getting a bad rep coaching wise, and I think we need better coaches to keep our national perception up. I am very interested in who each school hires.

I live in Memphis and have watched most of their games this year. It is exciting football. But Norvell is playing with Fuente's recruits. And he has done very little as far as changes in the offense or defense. Next year this will be Norvell's team and see what he does then.

I read elsewhere that 16/22 starters this year were Norvell’s recruits.

Yep Bender, we Bama fans have a sudden renewed interest in strength of schedule. We want to get back to the days of just playing int the SEC West alone, guaranteed a top 10 schedule. It is in everybody's best interest for each school to make good hires, at least the ones who plan on making the playoffs in the next few years.
