FWIW, Norvell is going through and following Arkansas players and commits on Twitter. He is also following Richard Davenport and Zach Rogers' dad.

Well he probably really wants the job... but if he doesn't get it I am sure he will do his best to poach some of the recruits we are looking at. Its a win/win for him.
If he gets the job then he's been following our recruits, if he doesn't then he is the guy that is interested in them while we try and find a new head coach.

Coaches do this a lot. Back when we were looking for a defensive coordinator (Rhoades) literally every name that came up as a possibility for the position started following Hogs players. The one that sticks out in my mind was Barry Odom. I was convinced Bielema was gonna hire him.
We know they have been considering Norvell. This isn't a surprise at all. But I have noticed that the media is starting the Norvell hype train. Bo said a bit ago that he would consider the job Norvell's until we hear differently.

He should’ve hired Odom as DC so we wouldn’t have a losing record to fricking Mizzou.
