His team has so little talent at Washington state, any team with a decent dline just tan over them this year and his qb isn't that good to boot. Turnover machine. With the quarterbacks and offensive line talent he could get here we would be a perennial 8-9 win team getting to double digits when we are senior laden. Bring on the pirate!

I'll admit, it would not be a boring hire.

Leach would be an entertaining hire sure... but he has one or two games a year where his teams play so badly that literally anyone can beat them.

If we go out and get stomped by an FCS team, which has happened to Leach at WSU, the fan base will go insane. And Leach lost to an FCS team after having several years to build his team.

It reminds me of what Michael Hayes (one of the Freebirds in pro wrestling) said of riding with the Iron Sheik. "We thought it would be fun, and it was, until it wasn't."

Yep, I like Leach but he scares me for a few reasons, not the least of which is the fact that he always seems to have a game or two where his team just sleepwalks into the game and either gets beaten by subpar competition (read: an FCS team) or absolutely murdered by a decent team.

Inversely, they seem to often play above their heads, and have a few stunning upsets in his tenure in Pullman.
