I don’t think we’ll get Gus regardless but I’m still rooting for them to lose because it will at least make for good entertainment for a few days.

Well, most of us have lived here for more than 2.5 years. A lot of us have good Intel on what sort of person Malzahn is like for real. And for a lot of us, it matters.

That's funny, because I remember this short exchange from about a month ago when I made the mention about Norvell not having navigated a roster turnover yet.

Yep.
I pulled for Bama and wanted Gus (though I’m not a virulent Malzahn supporter), but it’s not happening.
Perhaps it’s for the best. I had/have serious reservations about hiring a guy with unconditional support from a faction of our fan/donor base whose initial contract would make him virtually unfireable.
