10 years? Mullen has completely turned MSU around, I wouldn't want to be the coach that follows him.

The thing is, he can win 8 games a year in Starkville in perpetuity and they'll build a statue of him. If he isn't winning the division and hit double digit wins by year 4 in Knoxville, he needs to get his resume together.

That's just the way it is. And people can say that Tennessee has been a dumpster fire for a decade and that expectations are too high, and maybe they have a point.

But Tennessee ain't lowering the expectations anytime soon. And Mullen has to understand that. At Tennessee, he'd have the resources and the fan support to compete for national championships, but he has to be up to the challenge.

Tennessee would be a risky move for him, but the rewards are exponentially better. Does he want to take a shot at becoming a legend or his he satisfied with being a hero in Starkville?

He's already a legend. According to what I have read on the rant. Mullen has been offered every vacant coaching job in the country
