Those running backs averaged that over the course of an entire career. That’s why you using that mythical comparison doesn’t hold water. That 99% argument is being used to point out that LF isn’t likely to finish at that number based on his normal weekly output. Because he’s only played 8 games, that 1% is severely distorting his numbers. That’s not an insult or me bashing Fournette. I’m simply pointing out that those two runs are outliers - and are extremely unlikely to be duplicated 4 times a year over the course of the year - which is what he’d need to do to continue to average 4.2 YPC. His YPC will drop significantly if he’s unable to duplicate a 90 yard and 75 yard run for every 175 times he runs the ball.

When are you going to realize his "normal weekly output" is 4.2 YPC and 86 YPG? No matter how many times you throw a hissy fit about it, that's not changing until next sunday.
