That kinda blows your “he’s the focus” and “Muh O-Line!!” theories out of the water. Harris simply breaks more tackles and requires more effort to be brought down, in addition to his vastly superior YPC.

This might be as stupid an argument as you've made (and that is saying something). When you have to break the tackle of one defensive back because the focus of the defense is on stopping Hurts, I'm not sure how much credit you should get for that. When you're surrounded by an entire defense, its a little harder to accumulate YAC. That's the end result of being the focus of a defense. Its because the whole or vast majority of the defense is focused on you. If you were honest you would admit that. But you won't.

This isn't really very complicated. You don't get to be an all-conference back when you only get 8 carries a game. Its really that simple. You're just not important enough. All the Alabama entitlement in the world doesn't change that. But let the Gump fan base give him all-conference (and hell maybe the media will too). I mean your fan base gives itself made up national championships, so why not that.

Guice shouldn’t be an all-conference for doing nothing outside of two games.

You think all the tackles he’s breaking are just DBs? If you actually watch him play you’ll see that’s not the case.

Since the stats far support Harris, you’re using your biased “eye test” in an attempt to say Guice “far better”.
