Kelly not interested, per back channels
Frost is either going to Nebraska, or waiting for a much better Florida school position to open up (You know who I'm talking about, and so does everyone else).
Gruden is either Knoxville/NFL bound or staying in the booth.
Doug Marrone wants the Tennessee job, hates Florida. (Not even joking about this, he HATES the entire state, and loves Tennessee)

Taggart is fools gold... he had one good year with an experienced team at USF... the rest of his record post-WKU has been pretty bad.

Taggart would be a better hire than I'm expecting. I think we end up with Strong.

Well. I doubt you have any back channels. So dumb. Tagggart isn't coming to UF.
Frost would come to UF if he isn't going to Nebraska.
Gruden isn't in Florida's radar, we don't care about him.
Norvell would be before Taggart.
I also know your sources are probably not as connected as 24/7, my family friends(3 generations in a town like Gainesville you get to know prominent members). I got back online today after two day vacation with GF. Had so many Kelly messages lol. Was like...wtf is happening? Word is he is approved, and UF is talking with his lawyers now. Word should be out by end of the week if he is hired.

Taggart is in no way better than Strong.
Strong got screwed by Texas. I'd take him in a second over a 5-5 guy at Oregon who sucked at USF for a few years.

I think Saban would not like Chip at Florida either. He isn't really a fan of Chip's style of offense, and Florida can put a lot of talent on the field for that offense.

Taggart's USF looked much better than Strong's USF does. Flowers has absolutely regressed. Texas lost to Kansas in his third year. I don't care how bad the deck is stacked against you, only bad coaches lose to Kansas at a school like Texas in year 3.

I have to assume that’s due to the change of offense. Strong brought Gilbert with him to run the Briles offense and Flowers would be best off in a Rich Rod-Pat White offense.

Then Charlie should run the offense that best fits his QB. Do anything to not let him regress that's the definition of bad coaching.
