I come in peace asking 'ye old faithful for some things to do this weekend for the A&M/Aubbie game.
First time going to Kyle Field for a game and have sold my soul to the devil by wearing (err supporting) an A&M shirt and hat but am looking for things to do while I'm there. Your yell leaders catch a lot of flak from other SEC teams, but I understand that they have some sort of pre-game ritual somewhere on campus.
Any recommendations would be appreciated
With that said, good luck in the game and hoping for the win.

11am kickoff sucks. Watching the Corps march in down Houston Street would be interesting if you haven't seen it before. I'd walk to Northgate after the game and get some food/beers at the Chicken while watching the 2:30 games.
This one may be a day trip for me.

They didn't go down Houston street for South Carolina. Has the route changed?

That does sound pretty cool, will definitely check out the Corps. Is Houston Street downtown Bryan or is it on campus?
No shite @ the early kickoff. Was thinking of leaving Houston around 7:00/7:30 to get there for at least an hour to see what was going on.
Appreciate the input

Houston street runs directly along Kyle Field on the East side
Just across Houston street is Spence Park, my personal favorite of tailgating areas.

Ahh alright thanks.
Where is the best place to park and do you have to walk 20 miles to get to the stadium?

I would walk around Spence Park just east of the stadium to check out tailgates. It might be pretty tame with the 11am start but you should still get offered booze and food if you talk to people and tell them it's your first game there.
If you're planning on staying up there to watch the later games definitely walk to Northgate to do so, tons of bars that will all have games on and it should be pretty crowded this weekend

The green space between The Quad and Kyle Field is Spence Park
If you want to walk through Campus, I recommend the St. Marys lot. It's a solid 15-20 minute walk and is $10 to park there, but you will not have any traffic leaving.
Free parking is south of George Bush Drive in the neighborhood. Get there at least 2 hours before kickoff if you want to find a decent spot.

Do most people drive back home after the game or do they stick around the Northgate area typically to avoid sitting in traffic for a few hours?
@Dub - much obliged. That's where we'll park.

11am game
coming off a big loss
lame duck coach
most expecting a big loss
This is going to be one of the worst Kyle Field atmospheres in a long long time.

Keep in mind it's Auburn, who we've never beaten at home. We also haven't won against Ole Miss, LSU, or Bama at home. Not sure why the Auburn game gets so much attention over this. Probably because they've never beat us in their stadium either. LSU has. Bama has. Ole Miss has. We suck.

Make sure you pay attention for parking signs. They are clearly marked, and they love giving tickets. My community service for an (alleged) MIP may or may not have been to follow the ticket guy around picking up trash while he wrote tickets
But like I said, they are clearly marked, so you should be fine if you're paying attention. St. Mary's has paid parking that isn't too bad if not.

Yeah a good rule of thumb, if the street is packed with cars and you find a spot that has no business being open, it's probably a no parking zone.

St Mary's is usually $20 now, pretty much all of the former $10 & $15 lots jumped up to $20 right after the west side construction was completed
Simple supply and demand I guess
