We're often given huge cushions and instead of taking advantage with drags and slants we run post routes deep crossing routs or out routes to the sticks
I’ve been bitching about this for years. We’d be so much better if we ran these and I do not fricking get why we don’t.

There are only a few reasons I can think of 1 is we very seldom do any straight 3 step drops without faking to the rb or speed sweep guys. We usually do some sort of fake or 7 step drop that completely elimates quick passes due to timing.

THe only other thing I can think of is everyone stacks the box against us so there's usually 3 LBs or 2 in the middle with another jack standing up so that blankets the middle.

Announcers have called us out for not throwing it short / quick, Cole Cubelic and beat writers have called us out even writers in pressers have asked coaches about it.

Lindsey was supposed to bring some 3 step drop passes with him but 90% are still fakes and long drop backs.
