The way you start threads like this, you're the baked one.

Barry lunney has become the defacto Horton I'm assuming

No thanks. I’d rather keep Lunney for our instate guy.

I haven't started a thread on this board for almost 11 months.

It’s been a tough, but promising 11months. The discipline will pay off in the long run

Horton has forgotten more about football/recruiting than lil’ Barry Lunney will ever know

I’ve been thinking about this and we’d probably never lose an instate kid again if we had Horton and Lunney on the same staff. I’m down for this if we can get Malzahn away from Auburn.

Do you think that the in-state kids we have lost out on in the last 5 years were the difference between our results and being good/great? Do you think that on average we lose games because we lost out on in-state kids, or that we lost out on out of state kids? Do you believe that Arkansas high schools produce higher talent than neighboring states?

How many SEC caliber athletes DOES Arkansas produce on average per year? Four or five? Something around there? Well, you obviously need every damn one of them available. Without missing a single one. Then you need 15 or so either all from Texas or a combo between Texas and Louisiana.
So yeah, Arkansas doesn't produce many, but you gotta get every one of them that we do produce.
