Can we also talk about the horrendous clock management at the end of the game?

We had three timeouts and were slow as hell getting the plays in and lined up. We juiced something like 20 seconds between the final two offensive plays, and suddenly started playing for the field goal.

It's like Bert was in a coma for the first half of this season, when FGs were this mystical thing. It's apparent that he didn't learn any lesson from the 2015 MSU, only this time we were able to make the FG.

It was pretty horrid. But it was nice to be on the winning side of kicking a field goal at the end for a win. I’m glad that Limpert took each of the practice kicks, and that he was nodding his head in confidence after the third time as though he knew he was about drill the 4th. He pulled a Macon without pointing at his veins.

At first I was happy because I thought they were going to rush it and give Ole miss the ball with too much time. They went way overboard with trying to run that clock and it almost screwed up the whole game.
