I like Mike, but totally disagreed with him yesterday.

He is on the Bret train hard. I think some of the media guys really like him on a personal level and it's hard for them to let go of that.

And that's fine. Just come out and say it. Don't tell me you're impartial and then go on for 47 minutes recollecting back to 1947 when you were good as a junior in high school and that explains all the problems with this current razorback team.

He comes across as having almost zero journalistic integrity. No matter how much he claims that isn't the case.

I'm not asking these guys to come straight out and call Bret a bum, but for f's sake he was trying to say there are no plans to remove this guy. Lol.

I can understand this, I've met Bret in person and he's a very likeable guy. Nobody wants to see their buddy get fired, especially when you would have to be dealing with his replacement on a daily basis.

Not to mention Bielema makes himself available for the press, which is a big help come deadline time. The next guy might be one of those coaches that releases the hounds every time he sees the press and responds to questions with only hate filled yes or no answers.

I seem to remember Mike going on Bo's show a while back and saying that he was considering retirement before Bielema came along. Mike said that Bielema made football and being around the program fun for him again and that's why he didn't retire.

I'm guessing that's why he's going down with SS Bielema.
