We play down to our competition. We have all season. Should have beaten Florida, played with South Carolina and played down to far less talented teams.

Thinking that we are going to beat a bad Kentucky team like Mullen does nearly every time he plays them isn't thinking we are Bama. The line has gone up to 13, by the way. Apparently MSU fans aren't the only ones who think we are going to beat the shite out of you.

Are you though?
Sure you blew out LSU, but you played the version that lost to Troy. Outside of that you've been beaten 80-13 by the only other real teams you've played, and neither game was as "close" as the score indicated.
The strength of your wins is something like 86th in the country.

A bad team loses close games. We have a decent team that doesn't have the kill mentality to put teams away. We should be 6-0 right now.
I don't get the arrogance that your fans are displaying right now. I guess if you have to live in Mississippi, or spend extended amounts of time there, you have to have something to be positive about though.

State is gonna kick A&M's arse, too.

Sure fire sign of a good team. Lol
For all you KY fans incredulous about all the blowout predictions....I'm not seeing those predictions. Most are saying 10 or 14 points, which is in line with the spread. ESPN gives u a 21% chance.

Meh, we're slightly above average at best but even Bama only beat us by 8 at home. I highly doubt a one-dimensional State team is gonna come in a roll us by 3+ scores.

But the podunks from Starkville, Mississippi (aka thank gawd we're not Mississippi) are world beaters. You haven't heard?

State isn't significantly better than SC and Kentucky doubled them up on the road.
Given how easily the only two offenses worth a damn walked through State's defense, Kentucky is likely gonna score too many points for it to be a blowout. And Georgia/Auburn don't even have mobile QBs.

If we can contain their QB, we'll win. We'll be healthy for the first time in weeks and we'll have Jordan Jones back. Jones, combined with Allen, are two of the best linebackers in the SEC. Ware is no slouch either. We've been banged up as frick but we're coming off of a much needed bye week.

the fact that you think us knowing we are going to beat Kentucky is arrogance is hilarious. You're fricking Kentucky. You've beaten us once in 8 years.

We aren't a power house. We are just a lot better than Kentucky. The fact that you don't realize that is on you. Knowing that we are better than you doesn't mean that we think we are a powerhouse. It means we know we are better than a shitty Kentucky team. That's it.

We are not a powerhouse, but common sense would tell you that we have played tougher competition than you have.
If we were playing at Kentucky, it might be a different game. The difference in this game is going to be our DL back at full strength and our depth at RB.
You guys have definitely turned a corner in football and should be able to contend with anyone in the East outside of Georgia. Not many are going to compete with Georgia.
I think we pull it out in the 4th and do not cover but do win by 7-8.

This arrogance is just so odd. Is MSU not in Mississippi now, but Alabama? I have no words...
