We could say the same about Kentucky and all of you that are so sure of a W in our house. It's kinda comical.

This is adorable.

Maybe we should not make the trip and just stay home.

I never said Kentucky would win. I know some others have, but I'm just surprised by comments like "Over by halftime". That's a lot of bravado for any SEC game.

Peace.

I don't think it will either. Most are saying that because they are 1+uping the Kentucky, well south Carolina and A&M fans predictions. I think it will be fairly close. I've said 34-20 all week and will continue with that prediction.

What's adorable is a 13 point underdog calling out people for telling them that their team is going to lose.

34-20 seems about right.

Yeah, I have to agree. NOT over at the half.

These matchups are what is making the comments happen

Total Offense MSU - #42 against Kentucky Total Defense #68

That's a decent matchup

Kentucky Total Offense #106 against MSU #8 Total Defense (even with our blowout losses)

This is not a good matchup.

So this sounds like a 24- 10 game.

The big key is turnovers.

It's a big game, State needs the win to get back on track to a 8 win season and UK will be out to prove they are legit this year.

I think home field advantage gives us the edge. We play so much better at home but awful on the road

Being in college station it will be tough. Aggie is playing much better.

Tossup game for sure

So it's not important to try and win all your games? Gotcha

You do realize, the state of Alabama is EAST of Mississippi.

Auburn is damn near in Georgia.

I'm glad vegas predictions of score differences have your confidence sky high. That is fine if that is what you hang your hat on.

I think the play on the field will tell the story, but that is just me.

Vegas doesn't keep their sports books open by not being correct or close to correct with the sports lines.

To say that Kentucky won on a last second FG last year is misleading. Did they kick a field goal to take the lead at the end, yes? They had a 10 point lead with less that 10 minutes left in the game. If we're being technical, MSU needed a "last minute" TD pass to take the lead.

What I'm saying is it wasn't like we kicked a FG and shocked the world. We beat MSU handily in total yards and time of possession and that is why we took home the win.

One guy said that. So yeah, we are all delusional. Good call.

And all you people from Kentucky....KENTUCKY!....trying to pile on the state of Mississippi?

Congrats on being the tallest midget, I guess.

Yep and like we said, that D was lead by Peter Sirmon. Keep hanging your hat on that W. I guess you have a right to being it was your first one in 8 tries.

Well, not sure what is so funny. It's not like Mississippi is know for football, basketball or any other sport of note. So I don't get the bravado being thrown around. As I've said multiple times in this thread, seems odd from MSU. I might expect it from Bama or Georgia this year, but not a Mississippi school.

Seems to me to be a pretty even matchup overall, but if you guys think it will be a rout, I guess that's OK, but seems a bit delusional to assume that. I guess you have to hang your hat on something though, so use us for that.

Luckily, the game is played on the field, and not on the rant.

It's delusional to think that we are going to beat a team that we are nearly a 2 TD favorite over? No, it's delusional to call that delusional.
