I know you're being sarcastic, but Alabama did sign the 2nd highest ranked recruiting class of all time last year.

It's still early, but this does seem to be the first year where maybe kids are looking elsewhere due to the insane depth there at Bama. I have no doubts that it will sort itself out and it will return to a top ranked class... but it's nice to see a little struggle out of Tuscaloosa for a change.

There is no struggle, getting the players we want for the most part, just have to wait for them to commit.

Alabama was #1 again last year. Pretty sure Kirby was at Georgia then.
But seriously, Alabama lost three major recruiters earlier this year. The replacements seem to be more coaches than recruiters. But Alabama will still finish top 10 with a class of 22 guys.

Alabama's 2019 class will be insane in its own right. Hell, it had more commits than the 2018 class at one point this summer.

TS had a post over in our recruiting thread calling out the number of 4/5* athletes in all the major southeastern states... 2019 is a bumper crop man... the shitty part is, it means that some of the programs that might not recruit as well will likely luck into some really talented kids as well... there is more than enough to go around... evaluations going to be important.

We have the #1 AND #2 WR for 2018 and the #1 DE. Two are top ten and one is in the teens, all five stars. I love how Kirby recruits offense very well.
