two Scenarios. Would you rather format:
We finish the season 8-4( wins vs. Arky, UTk, Vandy, Wofford and UF) but our Offense remains as bad as it has been ie 20 ppg.
We finish 6-6 again but we finish with an offense averageing 35+ ppg.

Are those my only two choices?

There are a couple of reason for posing that question. If you choose 8-4: completely understandable, wining is better than losing. However, even with as shitty as we have played on Offense, we have been within striking distance of everyone. We really only need one or two things to go our way to change the outcome of our 2 losses and I don't see anyone that I listed as potential wins as being any more impressive than the teams we already played.
If you choose 6-6 with better offense: I can see this way of thinking as well because realistically, we don't have the depth to really expect much better than that. Having an offense that can crank out 35+ points per game would dispell the notion that Muschamp can't have an offense and would also help create the excitement needed for recruitment that would get us the depth needed to win 8+ games.
Am I happy with how we are playing? No. Do we need a new OC? Yes. But there isn't many people that we play this year that we CAN'T beat. They are just all going to be really ugly games.

I will always take the wins.
We've had super dynamic scoring offenses at Arkansas recently coupled with 7 win seasons. I'd happily field a craptacular offense matched with a horrible defense that somehow manages to win 8-9 games every year and has bigger years from time to time.

We finish the season 8-4
8-4 implies improvement under Muschamp, leading to (hopefully) better recruiting. I'll take this.
6-6 with more offense just ensures Roper isn't going anywhere, and there is virtually nothing to encouraged by come season's end.

We had some great offenses with Brad Scott and Tanneyhill but we didn't win many games. Put me in the "win more games" column as opposed to having highly ranked units.
