re: NC State vs FSU. This, in a nutshell, is what concerns some UA fans

I must agree, the NC State game plan was simple and it was perfect and we should have adapted it at halftime. If they want to continue to bring pressure and an extra man frequently on a blitz, throw it where they ain’t! It’s basic and fundamental and we didn’t do it. You blunt a pass rush by burning it with screens and draws and the blitz by throwing to hot routes in the vacated space left by the blitzer. We either didn’t incorporate the plays to do it, or our offense didn’t execute it. That’s inexcusable and we may very well look back on the FSU win later on as an overinflated W.
