Seem to be conscious of targeting and other crazy stupid penalties.

We play smarter.

Don't recall that many stupid penalties in CMR era outside of Malcolm in the UGA-FL game in 12. At least not many that were actually worthy of being called a penalty.

Kirby had a player run across the field last year and it cost us a game.

I think we're moving in an awesome direction. I just don't understand the need to slam Richt every chance we get, especially when it might not be accurate.

Maybe the "stare at the wall" punishment worked.

The players are buying in to "The Process" Kirby brought over from Saban. The philosophy is that if each player does his job exactly as the play is drawn up it will be a successful play.
This philosophy reduces mental mistakes and stupid penalties because if the player executes properly there will be no mistakes.

Come on man.
The most costly celebration penalty in the history of Georgia football happened a year ago this week. A penalty that will forever be part of Georgia - Tennessee football history.
To Kirby's credit none have happened since.

AJ was innocent

You know what else is missing...the tackles that consisted of trying to knock a guy down instead of actually tackling them. I love the way our guys tackle without trying to make a highlight reel...
