Starting with Alabama career offensive records:

Career Total Yards
8,969 AJ McCarron
8,099 John Parker Wilson
6,205 Brodie Croyle
5,958 Andrew Zow
5,762 Greg McElroy
4,166 Jalen Hurts

Jalen was at 3,734 after last year. You have to figure he'll probably make his way into 3rd place behind McCarron and Wilson by the end of this season.

-----------

Career Total Touchdowns
80 AJ McCarron
58 John Parker Wilson
52 Harry Gilmer
50 Shaun Alexander
46 Mark Ingram
40 Jalen Hurts

More than likely Hurts moves into 2nd this year. He would need to shatter the Alabama season record of touchdowns that he set last year with 36 to approach McCarron's 80. Not likely.

------------------

Career Rushing Yards
13. Eddie Lacy 2,402
14. Shaud Williams 2,288
15. Ricky Moore 2,270
16. Glen Coffee 2,107
17. Siran Stacy 2,105
18. Harry Gilmer 2,025
19. Corky Tharp 2,008
20. Tony Nathan 1,997
21. Ahmaad Galloway 1,830
22. Lowell Tew 1,829
23. Major Ogilvie 1,718
24. Derrick Lassic 1,696
25. Ray Hudson 1,639
39. Damien Harris 1,302
45. Jalen Hurts 1,163

No use in going to the top of the rushing list as nobody on the roster has a chance to crack the top five this season. However, with a solid season Harris has a chance to pass some pretty good names. However, he'd need basically a 1,200 yard season this year to pass Lacy, which is hard to see based on Najee entering the fold and Jacobs getting healthy at some point. Still, by the time he graduates next year, Damien Harris is going to be very high on the career rush list.

Hurts, if he has a season similar to last year, has a chance to crack the top 20 after this year. If Jalen is the starting QB for four seasons, he has a really good chance to pass Derrick Henry (3,591) as the career rushing leader at UA. He would also be the career passing leader by a large margin. That, however, is counting pretty far down the road. As far as rushing, I will admit there are a couple names above Hurts that I don't recognize, but I think he is already the career rushing leader among quarterbacks.

-----------------

Career Passing Yards
9,019 AJ McCarron
7,924 John Parker Wilson
6,382 Brodie Croyle
5,983 Andrew Zow
5,691 Greg McElroy
5,689 Jay Barker
3,004 Jalen Hurts

Assuming we play 12 more games this year, Hurts would need to average 224 passing yards per game to get into this group. I don't see that as likely with Daboll brought in essentially to get back to pounding the ball, but the season has a long way to go. For context, Hurts threw for 2,780 yards last year. He'd need to throw for 213 yards per game the rest of the way (assuming 12 more games) to match that number. Of course 13 more games is certainly a possibility.

-------------

Career Receptions
228 Amari Cooper
194 DJ Hall
179 Julio Jones
173 Calvin Ridley
152 Freddie Milons

Ridley should have no trouble moving into 2nd on this list. If he averages just over 4.5 receptions per game for 12 more games (he's at 6 per game over the first two contests) he will pass Cooper and take over the top spot. 56 more receptions to pass Cooper would put him at 68 receptions for the season, a number he has hit in his first two seasons. I'd be surprised if he doesn't own this record by the end of the year.

-----------

Career Receiving Yards
3,463 Amari Cooper
2,923 DJ Hall
2,653 Julio Jones
2,070 Ozzie Newsome
1,941 Calvin Ridley

Cooper is too far away to catch this season, but 2nd place is a possibility if Ridley has a big year. He'll need to average about 82 yards per game for the rest of the year to get to 2nd. I don't see that as highly likely, but it's a possibility. He should, however pass Julio for third place. He'd need just over 59 yards per game to get there.

--------------

Career Receiving Touchdowns
31 Amari Cooper
18 Dennis Homan
17 DJ Hall
16 Ozzie Newsome
15 Calvin Ridley

Another record where Cooper is going to be out of reach. Ridley should have a very firm grip on second place by the end of the season.

Career Punting Average
45.0 JK Scott
43.6 Greg Gantt
43.5 Daniel Pope
42.8 Malcolm Simmons
42.6 Cody Mandell

JK is averaging only 37 yards per punt so far this season, so his career average has slipped from 46.3 to start the season to 45 now. Hard to imagine over the course of the year that he doesn't expand the lead in this category. He did start slow last year as well.

Lots of youth on the defense, so I'm not seeing anything in the defensive record books (which are historically more stout than our offensive records) that is in jeopardy with this year's group.
