Arkansas fans were quoting a similar stat too from the SWC days. Everybody agrees TCU was weak in the 70s and 80s in football. The reality is TCU and A&M have played what once in the GP era which is now going on what 17 years and that was at the start of his coaching here. So your statistic is a pretty hollow one for looking at modern day comparisons.

Really, I have heard that A&M has been reluctant to schedule TCU because of fear of its effects on their recruiting in-state. In other sports like college baseball, TCU has done just fine against the Aggies in recent years. No reason to think it would be different in football. Again, much respect to Arkansas for setting up a home and home and playing the Frogs. Even LSU was decent enough to do a 1 game at Jerry World. Maybe the Aggies will have the courage to do the same someday.

Well, let's see. Texas A&M hasn't played TCU, ever, while they were a good team under Patterson so...
