It seems like you are here trying to seek appreciation for TCU. Why would you want this from the SEC I do not know.

Nah, I don't care about seeking appreciation although it is always nice to receive it. I am genuinely curious where SEC folks rank TCU. I will admit I am not above teasing or poking fun at posters who have a bad habit of running down TCU or the Big12 when their hater narratives fall flat. I think that is only fair.

Winners and champions conduct their business on the field while others attempt to change the narrative after the game is over.

Sounds good on the wall of a locker room but in reality the game of college football isn't so simple. Politics are a part of college football and probably always have been. TCU fans know this maybe more than most.

Why would the SEC's opinion mean anything to you.
I am perplexed by a TCU fan caring what fans in another conference think of their team

TCU was left out because they had a huge lead against BU in Waco but could not close out the game.
If TCU finished business against BU they wouldn't have needed to worry about Ohio St.
Penn St, a borderline blue blood, who beat Ohio St couldn't get a CFP invite over Ohio St.

Maybe because I lived in Texas and understand college football in Texas even back to SWC days that I always respected TCU.

The reason why is that the Horned Frogs was pushed out of the Big XII expansion by Baylor. Cougar High may have been the only school with a chance besides TCU because of the demise of SMU but TCU didn't whine and complain about being demoted.
TCU went into the WAC and won, Conference USA and won and the Mountain West Conference and won. They forced their way back into a Power conference because they let the play on the field speak for their university.

TCU should worry about SMU because SMU is much better than they have been and they want to bring you back down in a bad way.

I do think Garry Patterson is s great coach. It is not as easy to win at TCU as some places with it being a small private school with nowhere near the fan base of Texas or A&M.

The problem with the SEC or any conference wanting TCU is the people behind those searches usually want schools with large fan bases.
