hurts was the SEC OPOY last year....the guy has to be doing something right,right?...as a true freshman, he led the bastards to the NC game, so other than suggesting that he get a damn haircut, leave him alone

He was the offensive player of the year because he played on the best team, bammer rotated 3 or 4 running backs, offensive lineman don't win those awards, and his shitty passing hampered bammers wide receivers

Yes he was. And yes he did. That doesnt make him a passer or ready to go early in the draft.

Yeah there would t be any bias reasons for that I'm sure.

They went to the championship. He was a freshmen. The committee didn't have anyone else to give it to with a better "resume". Problem with this is, Hurts had little to nothing to do with getting Bama to the championship. (Here comes all the Gumpers to talk about how I'm so wrong on this) but the fact is, you could have put any QB from the SEC last year (Etling included) and Bama would have still made the championship game. Hurts did not make that team last year what it was.
