I'm not offended in the least. AJ McCarron was well developed, I'd say. He will almost certainly be starting somewhere in the NFL next season (I don't know if he'll be any good, but somebody will give him starter money this offseason because that's how the NFL works with competent looking backups stuck behind long-term starters). JPW, McElroy, Sims and Coker did not possess NFL talents. Coker was probably the closest.

Now, why hasn't Alabama recruited and signed QBs with NFL skillsets? That's a different question/criticism.

Oh, but that's where you are wrong. Blake Sims and Coker were career substitutes and in their last year they led the most prolific offenses in the SEC. Both won the conference, and both played in the title game, winning one.

Yes, Kiffin is now gone, and Daboll may or may not be a good OC, and if he isn't he'll probably be one and done. Chris Weinke and the former OC at Ole Miss are on the UA staff and it's my guess one of them will be the QB coach when the additional assistant coach is implemented in January.
