Here's what the next A&M coach has to work with

Assuming that only Christian Kirk leaves for the NFL draft, here's who A&M would return:
Quarterback: Blumrick, Mond, Starkel.
Connor Blumrick will be the starter in 2018. He's the only one that hasn't been ruined by Sumlin of those three and has by far the greater upside.
Running Back: Williams, Bussey, Kibodi
Jacob Kibodi becomes the big back to complement Trayveon Williams.
Wide Receiver: Everyone except for Ratley and Kirk
These guys need serious coaching up. Fortunately, without Aaron Moorehead there, we might actually see improvement
Tight End: McZeal, Horry
Those two might actually grow into the Dan Campbell/Derrick Spiller combo we've been waiting on since 1998 if used by the right coach. I won't use the Martellus Bennett/Joey Thomas comparison because neither is as talented.
Offensive line: Return every single scholarship offensive lineman. This might be worth retaining Jim Turner alone.
Defensive End: everyone except Cunningham and Jarrett Johnson
This is BAD. Worse than it is this year.
Defensive Tackle: everyone except for Henderson
It might not be a bad idea to move Peevy to end
Linebackers: Return everyone. We'll see how much that helps.
Cornerbacks: Return everyone except Willis. Nick Harvey returns from his RS year, as does Donovan Wilson.
Until we ensure Deshawn Capers-Smith is comfortable with the bench, this can't reach its full potential.
Safeties: Everyone except Watts.
Might need to move Harvey or Wilson to safety next year.
Kicker: LaCamera and Mann
Need to move Mann to punter full time after his failed effort on Sunday.
Quarterback: Blumrick, Mond, Starkel.

I don't know if you deliberately left off guys who are redshirting this year, but you could add Ondario Robinson and Josh Rogers on the DLine. Also, Wilson is already playing safety this year. DCS, Elam, Howard were the guys who played Nickel as far as I could tell. Pryor and Carper were in the game to replace an injured Wilson.

Starkel will be the best QB in the SEC next year if he is opening day starter. Tag this, quote this, do what you want. If he is here and he is starting he'll be the best in the league

I doubt Starkel remains. I think the longer Sumlin is head coach, the more likely he transfers.
