It was a borderline miracle that game wasn't a 17 point loss for LSU
That "borderline miracle" is called Dave Aranda and the LSU 2016 defense.

While we did lose some DB talent, we are DBU for a reason.
The real optimism is going to be the front 4. I expect LSU '11 type of pressure from them. I'm also hyped about Devin White being the next Kelvin Sheppard/Beckwith.
Our defense will be ferocious this year IMO.
Our online depth will end up fricking us when the inevitable injury happens, but we will not be predictable on offense anymore atleast.
I fully expect 10-2 this year

I expect this to be a high scoring 33-32 type affair. Hope I'm right! May the best Tiger win!

I was thinking the Mercer game mainly because i didnt know they even had a football team and now that i do know , what division are they? Are they D3? Could they beat a solid high school team?

Looking forward to that changing.
Clinton's daughter may be receiving oral in the Oval Office before Auburn wins in Baton Rouge again.

It was refreshing to see OP (a bama fan) speak with rationale about conference opponents. Then your arrogant arse had to show up with your bullshite.

It should be a game but the biggest game is LSU at Bama. This LSU defense might be close to Bama good this year. It was elite last year. This game has championship aspirations written all over it.
I agree and both defenses will be elite and about even, but LSU's pass rush and blitz packages this season are going to be a hell of a lot better. Furthermore, our new offense is specifically designed to keep defenses off balance, back on their heels, and guessing. In the last two games, Alabama knew LSU offensive plays coming before the ball was snapped. This season you guys won't have that advantage anymore, which equals a much harder to stop LSU offense.
I wouldn't stake my life on it, but this year may be the year. I also sense that you guys this season are not quite up to par with previous seasons. I don't know if that is the case, but that's the feeling I'm getting, but then again, we'll see.

Minus the abomination of AU's D in 2015 it is also usually one of the hardest hitting games all year. My second favorite game after the Iron Bowl.
shite I man enough to admit as a fan of football in general my third favorite game to watch every year is the LSU-Bama game.

I agree, the depth on your web team is really lacking, but you all have numbers so maybe some other posters can step up. Finger injuries are rarely serious, but carpal tunnel syndrome I heard could sideline a poster for weeks.

I hope for your sake, Stidham can play well under intense pressure, because he going to be on the run that entire game. Last season's elite defense was just a generic 3 - 4 defense, this season our defense will be the true Aranda defense. Your quarterback is going to be pressured like he has never been pressured before. He has never faced a defense like our defense in the Big 12, as we will be in his face every play and if he hesitates he will be sacked and if he makes a mistake he will be intercepted.
Not to mention, that Canada's new offense is specifically designed to keep defenses back on their heels and guessing. There will be no more loading up the box to stop Guice this season. We now run a pro-style spread offense that spreads the ball out, so if you guys load the box up to attempt to stop Guice, it will open up other opportunities and Canada will over match you or out leverage you. It's going to be fun.

Also if he's such a great coach, how come he's not been offered one HC job??
He was offered and accepted two head coaching jobs and saved two seasons from disasters, and then he was offered another head coaching job that he also accepted. I could care less if you have any respect for our head coach, but he will prove himself on the field.
Not to mention, that had LSU defeated Auburn last season, you guys probably would have fired Malzahn. So Malzahn doesn't exactly have a sterling coaching record to speak about.

You don't know that. You don't have a clue. Nonetheless, we are going find out what he's made of when you guys get to Death Valley and lose again.
