LOL so now it's because of his O-line? I guess we can say the same about Pettway since most folks seem to think Auburn's O-line was and is as good a run blocking unit or better than Alabama's (in 2016 and 2017), right? That's silly. But you know that.

My point is Gus didn't know what he had in Pettway as a RB. Kam fit the perfect mode as a FB in Gus's plans last year, it wasn't until Johnson got hurt did he realize what he had. AU climbed to #9 in the polls on the back of Pettway. He made it possible for White to be an effective QB. The UGA and Bama Games proved my points.
All of that to say Kam had a punch of yards against the little sisters of the poor run defenses and got hurt before they played 2 good ones.
He hasn't had a good game against a good run defense. If you can find one, I'd be glad to amend that statement.

Delusional Auburn spin. Are you saying that Pettway ran behind a shitty OL? You know, the position you gave Auburn an advantage at 2 weeks ago. Bo ran behind a true freshman RT and inconsistent guards all year.

Most of Pettway yards were against Defenses designed to stop him. The safeties would crowd the LOS before he got hurt. AUs OL were outnumbered due to lack of QB play.
BS, ran behind Robinson for the majority of his yardage. AUs OL improved as the year developed, but many games KP got most of his yardage after contact. You can spin that anyway you want.

Like Auburn has in recent years, all Alabama running backs benefitted from a running threat at QB.

Now you are just being retarded. Pettway got his yards against terrible defenses. Bama played against stacked boxes too because they knew Hurts could not pass. Just say you think Pettway is better because it is just an opinion and there is no shame in that even if it is wrong.

Dude, Arkansas, Mississippi State and Ole Miss couldn't stop a cold. It didn't matter if they put all 11 guys at the line of scrimmage.

Let's not confuse people with facts now . . .

Damn. How long can these silly guys keep going? This is a damn bludgeoning.

Again, goes back to how Defenses were scheming against AU. 11 in the box reduces the chance for long runs, yet KP led the SEC in rushing yards per game. What was BS totals against those same teams, considering he had the SEC OPOTY to draw attention off stoping him.

40 missed tackles forced to 23, in 84 fewer carries, and the YAC differential pretty much destroys everything you've attempted - albeit poorly attempted - to argue in this thread.

Just bow out while you have the chance barner. You are taking a beating.

Weird that Bo had almost double the caused missed tackles as Kam on less attempts since he had all that open field due to the AA RT and the SECPOTY QB.
Weird. Probably just fake news or something.

Only a dumbass who doesn't know shite about football would not understand my point. 11 at the LOS vs 7, is also hard on OL.

Tell me more about how those forced missed tackles and yards after contact can be explained away by teams stacking the box. TIA.

You are seriously arguing that teams put 11 guys on the LOS when Sean White was healthy and playing QB during the middle of the season?
You've dug yourself to China my bro

Neither guys are going to break ankles or anything. I think Bo definitely benefited from a more balanced and complex scheme while Pettway had about 250 carries and they were ALL dives right up the middle which makes it difficult to break long runs or tackles. On the flip side, you could say Pettway benefited from an offense that was commited to feeding him the ball over and over in the power run game while Bo was for the most part in more of a finesse first, power second run game.

Easy answer, DBs in open field count as YAC. Again, you have to understand football, but yards after contact 3 yards from the LOS is different than in open field. Jam carried that Offense even with the odds stacked against him.

Basically, they are both really good running backs that have had injuries that prevented them from having a full season and will be loads in 2017, assuming they stay healthy (which is a big if).

You keep working from this premise that states the teams Auburn played put 11 guys in the box. Maybe Georgia and Alabama once Sean White was hurt and/or Jeremy Johnson played (and we aren't even counting those stats against Pettway due to his injury), but not when White was healthy in the middle of the year. That's pure silliness.

I admit that I thought you were one of the smart barners then you go and make yourself look like a retard in this thread and change my mind.
