Ranking the SEC East coaches by their record against Lyle "Butch" Jones

1. Will Muschamp: 3-0
2. Jim Mcelwain: 1-1
3. Derek Mason: 1-2
4. Kirby Smart: 0-1
4. Barry Odom: 0-1
5. Mark Stoops: 0-4
The active West coaches that have played Lyle are Saban (4-0), Bret Bielema (1-0), Gus Malzhan (1-0), and Kevin Sumlin (1-0).
The only somewhat respectable records on this list are Muschamp and Mac. 2 years into his career at Florida, Coach Mac has a 19-8 record. Muschamp was 18-8, but he had top 10 recruiting classes during this time. I haven't really seen anything to show me that Florida is any better off with Mac.

), Mizzou, and Georgia, you should all be ashamed of your head coaches. Vanderbilt, you get a pass for now.

I'm fairly certain that Tennessee play an overtime game against Texas A&M last season, so add Sumlin to that list

So when you add Sumlin in Lyle is 0-7 against the west? Good god

Beating Tenn in that game in '15 was an important one with two teams and coaches pretty much on the same path. That game was supposed to show which team was going to take the next big step.

Thanks, added him.

The last time we played State was under Dooley. Unless your counting the loss from his time at Cincy or CMU. Jones hasn't lost to MSU at UT unless I'm higher than giraffe pussy, which I am.

Probably the least impressive division of HCs in college football.
But we've got 0 in ours, so...

As long as he keeps recruiting up, the program won't go backwards. He will see at least three years to try to prove y'all wrong.

Thanks for the kind words, I look forward to seeing Lyle break his West losing streak when the D-Line coach comes to Rocky Top.

mUSChamp is 4-0 vs Lyle. 2016, 14, 13, 12. No, wait, he's 5-0 vs Tennessee I think, only 3-0 vs Lyle.
