We've really only had 2 good/great kickers (Parkey/Carlson) + 1 solid before that (Wes Bryum)

I think the key has been they all get a RS year + Not put in high pressure situations too early

Don't know if that would have worked. The older Carlson didn't go pro just for the chance to play w his younger brother. They've never been on the same team before

Plus there is the whole slap in the face from not offering Daniel Carlson. I've heard that really rubbed them the wrong way. Parents did athletics at Bama, grandpa is a major Bama booster
