A "tier" is a group. "Once in generation" is one person better than all the rest. They are not the same thing.
Andrelton has had a great season this year and I'm happy for him. If he has a followup season like this offensively then he will have proven he is an elite SS all around. He will still not be a "once in a generation" shortstop.
